JAWS Power Tip: How To Access Emoji Descriptions in Braille
Released: 7/4/2024
When encountering emoji symbols, such as "smiling face with smiling eyes" or "face with tears of joy," JAWS automatically speaks the emoji description as soon as focus moves to it.
Now, you can also read descriptions of emojis in Braille.
When focus is on an emoji, it is indicated by a full 8-dot cell.
Press the Cursor Router button above the full cell to display a flash message containing the description of the emoji, similar to what you would hear with speech.
The "Face with Tears of Joy" emoji (😂️), is the most used emoji worldwide.
