Greetings,

1) As usual, right in the beginning hours of the new month, AppleVis has filled us in on "What's New and Noteworthy for February 2017:"

http://www.applevis.com/blog/ios-apps-news/applevis-unlimited-whats-new-and-noteworthy-february-2017

2) News is beginning to come out of this year's CSUN conference. Much of it concerns products that dont exist yet, assuming they ever will, but that you can learn about. One that is now available is the KNFBReader for Windows 10. The program will work on computers, tablets and smartphones, and can now be downloaded for $19.95 from the Microsoft Store:

3) The release dates of three new Braille notetakers are less definite. The $4995 NeoBraille is supposed to ship in April. Its claim to uniqueness is to be full integration with Amazon Alexa:

4) The 16-Cell Actilino from Handy Tech has that company's Active Tactile Control which senses when you are at the end of the line so you don't have to manually refresh the display:

5) The 14-Cell ElBraille, made in Russia and again announced by Freedom Scientific, runs Windows 10:

6) Companies sometimes offer adaptive technology sales during CSUN. Martgen Consultancy is doing that, with considerable reductions on training packages and software:

7) Here we learn "What's new when using JAWS with Office 365 Apps:"
