6) Speaking of Apple, the newest iPhone to be released on July 19 will have a version of the Voiceover screen reader built in which will work with all the phone's built-in applications and perhaps others.

9) On Tek Talk to air Tuesday 16 June at 00:00, Judy Dixon, Consumer Relations Officer for the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in the US will demonstrate and discuss the new NLS Digital talking Book Player that will be arriving in libraries later this summer, and will discuss other details of the move to digital books.

10) In Window-Eyes news, the first public beta version of Window-Eyes 7.1 is available, featuring some braille enhancements, access to 64-bit Windows and to Windows 7 and much more scripting capability.
