1) Mark Taylor has produced a quick-start guide for the Mobile Geo GPS program that runs on mobile phones running the Windows Mobile operating system. It's free.

2) LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired offers another of their tech seminars, Spot Reading on the Go! on Bastille Day, Tuesday, 14 July at 17:00 GMT. This program will features ways to read labels, greeting cards, and other short necessary items, using portable video magnifiers, pocket magnifiers and talking bar code scanners. 8) Unusually, the announcement about this week's Main Menu program got here before I finished the newsletter! this week, the program features an interview with Bernard Maldonado and Steve Sawczyn about the Solona service for solving Captcha's, and about Captcha in general.
