1) A security problem has been reported in JAWS 10 and 11, concerning those situations where anybody with restricted administrative access uses the computer with JAWS. Fixes have been produced for both JAWS versions. You can use the Search for Updates feature to get them. If you are waiting for a JFW 11 cd in the mail, it will contain the security fix.

2) As he has done for the last several JAWS versions, Jamal Mazrui has used tools such as his chm2txt package to create a structured text version of the documentation for JFW version 11 to make it easier to read and search.

3) I usually avoid speculative and pre-release announcements, but we'll definitely want to be following this one. Around the end of November, KNFB will come out with a free book reader, working on pc's, windows Mobile phones and the iPhone with other versions to folow, that will give users acces to over a million accessible books they will be able to purchase.
