JAWS for Windows Power Tip: How To Pin Apps to the Start Menu in Windows 11

You can pin apps to the Start Menu so they are easy to locate. To do this:
1.) Press the WINDOWS KEY to access Windows Search.
2.) Type the name of an app in the Search box and press DOWN ARROW to navigate the results.
3.) Press SHIFT+F10 on an app you want to pin. A context menu opens.
4.) Navigate the options using your arrow keys. Press ENTER on Pin to pin the app to your start menu.
5.) Press ESC to exit the Start Menu.
6.) Press the WINDOWS KEY to access Windows Search, then press TAB to place focus in the Start Menu. Once there, you can also press TAB to navigate to the list of pinned apps. When focused on an app, press SHIFT+F10 to access a context menu where you can move the app to the front of the list, unpin it, and more.
Alternatively, Selecting the All Apps option in the Start Menu displays a list of all apps installed on your computer. You can navigate this list using first letter navigation. Press the first letter of the app name to quickly locate an app. Press SHIFT+F10 when focused on an app to access the context menu where you can pin that app to your Start Menu.
