ZoomText Power Tip: How To Locate the Cursor in ZoomText with Cursor Enhancements Schemes
Released: 8/14/2025
In ZoomText, cursor enhancements make it easy to locate and follow the text cursor.
Choose from several high visibility locators that mark the cursor position without obscuring the surrounding text.
The default cursor enhancements scheme is a blue wedge.
The wedge displays triangular wedges above and below the cursor.
You can also change the scheme to a green circle, a thick red square, a thin magenta square, a single wedge where the triangle displays above the cursor, or a single wedge where the triangle displays below the cursor.
To quickly change the scheme, do the following:
1.) On the Magnifier toolbar tab, click the bottom half of the Cursor button, which displays the Cursor menu.
2.) In the Cursor menu, choose Scheme.
3.) In the Scheme menu, choose the cursor scheme you want to use. The change takes effect immediately.
4.) If you want to permanently save this setting, in the ZoomText menu, choose Configurations > Save As Default.
