Top Tech Tidbits Publisher Updates for September 18, 2025: Top Tech Tidbits Website Redesign Currently Underway
Released: 9/18/2025
Author: Aaron Di Blasi, Publisher, Top Tech Tidbits
I am incredibly excited to report that a complete redesign of the Top Tech Tidbits website is currently underway.
The funding for this redesign was made possible by a generous donation from Mind Vault Solutions, Ltd. I am deeply grateful to everyone on the Board who approved this project.
As promised, Top Tech Tidbits will provide access technology news with a mainstream network, but in order to do that we must first be able to deliver that news to "everyone," and right now we're not doing that. Let me explain.
From 2004, when Top Tech Tidbits was founded, until 2020, when Mind Vault took over the newsletter, there was no dedicated Top Tech Tidbits website. For 16 years online versions of the newsletters were housed on the former Flying Blind, LLC website, founded (and since dissolved) by Larry L. Lewis, Jr.
In 2020, when Mind Vault assumed ownership of the Top Tech Tidbits brand, I (Aaron Di Blasi) was tasked with custom coding the website for Top Tech Tidbits in order to ensure maximum accessibility and our future ability to remediate said site.
And my choice of design has served us well in that regard for the last 5 years. But that choice, while cost-effective at the time, always had one gaping hole in its accessibility.
Namely that the current Top Tech Tidbits website is not, nor has it ever been, mobile friendly. In short, that means that the current Top Tech Tidbits website does not detect when you are using a mobile device, and change its design to suit your device.
It just sticks with a static design intended for desktop, essentially breaking the mobile experience for both phones and tablets. Which represents a huge portion of persons with disabilities.
So it was always this that I wanted to fix first. Money was always the issue. Sponsors were just barely keeping the publication afloat. There were no additional dollars to budget for anything, let alone a complete website redesign that includes over 300 articles and more than 1,030 newsletter issues as of this writing. No small project. And not a project that anyone could accomplish. As someone who has worked with this data for the last 20 years, I believe I have the very best chance of making sure that all of it makes it over to the new site.
And so, that is what we are currently in the process of doing. The new site is being built atop WordPress and will be hosted with WordPress.com. The new site will be fully mobile-friendly, in addition to being accessible to assistive technologies, just like the current site.
In addition to being mobile first and accessibile, the new site will also take on new life with SEO connections to other WordPress.com powered sites like AT-Newswire.com, AI-Weekly.ai, DrKirkAdams.com, DonnaJodhan.com and eventually, even AccessInformationNews.com, once I'm able to get its redesign project approved. Something I hope will happen shortly after the new Top Tech Tidbits website goes live.
When will that be? I can't say for sure right now but we're currently shooting for January 1, 2026 or earlier.
The greatest benefit of this redesign, which is a new, mobile-first experience, across all Top Tech Tidbits newsletters, will benefit both readers, sponsors and advertisers in equal measure. Readers will now be able to enjoy Top Tech Tidbits from the device of their choice, and sponsors and advertisers will now be able to reach new readers in new ways that were never possible before.
Our mission is to make each publication as valuable to the reader as possible, while keeping it free to read, and in doing so give sponsors and advertisers a trusted medium through which they can reach that audience whenever they need to. A model that keeps each publication funded, while keeping it free to read.
So if you wake up one morning and notice that the Top Tech Tidbits website is offline, or that you didn't receive your issue this morning, please know that we're working on it.
I don't intend for there to be any downtime once we're ready to switch, but anything is possible, so we just wanted everyone to know that some lights may be flickering in the coming months as we work to build Top Tech Tidbits into a world class publication with a world class website.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Cheers!
