JAWS Power Tip: How To Create an Email Signature in the New Outlook Using JAWS

Email signatures are often displayed at the end of email messages to provide contact information, boost brand awareness, or offer important information.
A signature can consist of text, graphics, or both.
To create an email signature:
1.) When in a new email message, press ALT then N to access the Insert tab, then press DOWN ARROW to access the menu options.
2.) Press RIGHT ARROW to locate the Signature menu and press ENTER to access it.
3.) Press UP ARROW to locate Signatures, and press SPACEBAR. Focus is placed in the Signature settings.
4.) Press TAB to locate the Signature Name field and type a name for your signature.
5.) Press TAB to locate the Signature edit field and type your signature.
6.) Press SHIFT+TAB to locate the Save button and press ENTER to save the signature.
7.) Focus returns to the Signature settings where you can select the signature you want to use for new messages, replies, and forwarded messages. Navigate to these options by pressing TAB and make your signature selections using the arrow keys.
8.) Press SHIFT+TAB to locate the Save button and press ENTER. Your signature is saved.
9.) Press ESC to exit the Settings dialog.
Your selected signature should be displayed in your new email message, though you do not need to send it for your changes to take effect.
